Director of Maintenance

  Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all maintenance and repairs to aircraft and helicopters are performed in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FARS, other approved data, and company policies and procedures.
• Schedules manpower to accomplish work requirements on a timely basis through effective use of personnel, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned personnel.
• Coordinate work functions and progress with Maintenance Control.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly used and maintained.
• Review all documents to ensure proper completion and forward to appropriate department.
• Schedule personnel for available training classes so as to maintain acceptable skill levels.
• Ensure that all required reports are completed accurately and forward to appropriate department in a timely manner.
• Recommend purchases of tools and equipment necessary to handle required level of work.
• Be thoroughly familiar with the Maintenance Policy and Procedure Manual and company manuals.

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Four (4) years proven experience (Helicopter experience a Plus)
• One to two years supervisory experience.
• Must possess an excellent knowledge of aircraft systems and construction.
• Possess a valid FAA A&P License. (Attach photo copy).
• Possess a valid state drivers license and valid passport. (Attach photo copy).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel as required for extended periods.
