Director of Maintenance
Duties
and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all maintenance and repairs to aircraft and
helicopters are performed in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals,
FARS, other approved data, and company policies and procedures.
- Schedules manpower to accomplish work requirements on a
timely basis through effective use of personnel, equipment and facilities.
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned personnel.
- Coordinate work functions and progress with Maintenance
Control.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly used and maintained.
- Review all documents to ensure proper completion and
forward to appropriate department.
- Schedule personnel for available training classes so as to
maintain acceptable skill levels.
- Ensure that all required reports are completed accurately
and forward to appropriate department in a timely manner.
- Recommend purchases of tools and equipment necessary to
handle required level of work.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the Maintenance Policy and
Procedure Manual and company manuals.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Four (4) years proven experience (Helicopter experience a
Plus)
- One to two years supervisory experience.
- Must possess an excellent knowledge of aircraft systems and
construction.
- Possess a valid FAA A&P License. (Attach photo copy).
- Possess a valid state drivers license and valid passport.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel as required for extended periods.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Compensation is commensurate with experience and
qualifications.
